Step by step
From your first email to your flight home
Seven steps, and you have one coordinator through all of them. Here is what each one asks of you and what it gives you.

Initial Inquiry
Write to us by email, phone or the consultation form. Describe what happened and what you have tried, and attach the records you have; incomplete is fine. We answer in English or German.

Remote Video Consultation
You talk to a physician on video before you spend anything on travel. They have read your records, so the call is about whether a stay makes sense for you and what it would involve.

Medical Review
The physicians review your case and write back with an assessment. If a stay makes sense, you receive a proposed protocol, an estimated length and an itemised cost estimate.

Treatment Planning
You say yes, and your coordinator schedules the admission, confirms the estimate and the length of stay, and answers the questions that come up in between.

Travel & Arrival
We arrange the transfer from Munich Airport, help with a hotel for a companion, and issue an invitation letter if you need a medical visa. You arrive with an address, a time and a name.

Treatment Program
You are on the ward for one to three weeks. Each day has a schedule of therapies, a physician sees you, and your laboratory values are repeated so the plan can be adjusted.

Follow-Up
You go home with a full report. We stay available for video follow-ups, for questions, and for writing to your own physician when you want us to.
The practical part
Language, money, beds, visas
Languages
Physicians, nurses and coordinators speak English with you every day; German is the house language. For other languages we book an interpreter on request.
Costs & Payment
You receive an itemised estimate after the video consultation and before any travel commitment. Treatment is self-pay; the itemised invoice with diagnoses and procedure descriptions can be submitted to a US insurer for out-of-network review. We cannot promise reimbursement. Accommodation
You can stay in your hospital room throughout, and whoever comes with you can too, on an extra bed, or in one of the hotels and guesthouses a short walk away. We help you book either.
Travel & Transfers
Munich Airport (MUC) is about 60 minutes from Bad Aibling, Salzburg Airport (SZG) about 90 minutes. We arrange airport transfers and send detailed directions.
Visa Support
If you need a medical visa for Germany, we issue the invitation letter and treatment confirmation your consulate asks for, and we do it promptly, because appointment dates matter.
Companion Support
Someone can come with you. We arrange their room, tell them where to eat and walk in Bad Aibling, and they are welcome on the ward while you are in a session or resting.
Before you travel
Video consultation first
Every international stay begins with a video consultation in English. A physician has read the findings you sent beforehand, so the call is about whether a stay makes sense for you, what it would involve and how long it would take. You receive the written plan and the itemised estimate afterwards; nothing is booked until you have both.
Your coordinator
From the first email you have one contact in our patient coordination team, in English or German. Your coordinator writes to your home physician when you wish, prepares the invitation letter for a medical visa, arranges the airport transfer and accommodation for a companion, books an interpreter on request, and stays your contact after discharge for reports and follow-up appointments.
Getting here
By air
Munich Airport (MUC) is about 60 minutes by car, with direct flights from several US hubs. Salzburg Airport (SZG) is about 90 minutes. We arrange the transfer.
By train
Regional trains run from Munich Hauptbahnhof to Bad Aibling station in about 50 minutes; the hospital is a short taxi ride from the station.

Preparation
What to Prepare Before Your Visit
Put the folder together before you fly. The more of this we have on your first morning, the sooner the plan is final:
- Complete medical history summary
- Recent laboratory results and imaging (CDs/digital files)
- Current medication list with dosages
- Pathology reports (if applicable)
- Previous treatment records and physician letters
- Valid passport and visa (if required)
- Travel insurance documentation
